"The War Medley"

"Onward Christian Soldiers"
By Sabina Baring-Gould
"Stand Up, Stand Up For Jesus"
By George Duffield
"Rise Up, O Men of God!"
By William P. Merrill

Continuing on her journey to discover what pleases God the most, “Found” finds herself in church, watching as human needs go unmet because there are not enough people to carry out all the parts of the "Body of Christ."  She frantically hurries to become "all things to all people," only to discover that she can't.

These three powerful "battle songs" of the Christian faith illustrate the frustration as "Found" tries to do it all by herself.

"Have Thine Own Way, Lord"
By Adalaide A. Pollard

Exhausted from her feeble attempts at "doing it all" for God, "Found" falls into a heap on the floor. "Teacher" encourages her to choose what she can do as part of the "Body of Christ," and to do that one thing well.  After praying together, "Found" chooses to care for the elderly as her part of the "Body."

The soothing melody of this wonderful hymn underscores the peace that "Found" discovers as she lets God's Holy Spirit lead her in her quest to please God."

"His Eye Is On The Sparrow"
By Mrs. C.D. Martin

This exhilarating hymn is presented after "Found" chooses to care for the elderly as her act of service in the "Body of Christ." "Found" asks "Teacher" if God saw her caring for the old woman, and if He was pleased. "Teacher" assures "Found" that God sees every act of kindness done in His name, for "His Eye Is On The Sparrow."

"Be Thou My Vision"
(Traditional Irish Hymn)

On "Found's" continuing journey to discover what pleases God the most, they come across a lady who is reciting and meditating on God's Word. This person is called, "Seeker." "Teacher" tells "Found" that to seek God with all your heart pleases God very much.

This soothing, contemplative hymn wraps around the verses of scripture that "Seeker" recites as she draws "Found," "Teacher," and the entire audience into worship and a deep appreciation for the Word of God.

"Since Jesus Came Into My Heart"
By Rufus H. McDaniel

On her journey to discover what pleases God
the most, "Found" soon discovers that though it is good to "treasure God's Word in her heart," it is all vain glory unless she applies its principles to her day-to-day dealings with other people.

This upbeat hymn is the backdrop as "Found"
meets two "Sisters" who show her the futility of
speaking the things of God and not doing them.

"Rock of Ages"
By Augustus M. Toplady

"Found" is overwhelmed with the grandeur and polish of "Evangelist" when she hears his stirring exhortations.

This moving hymn accentuates the preaching
of the "Evangelist," as he declares the Word of the Lord to the audience.

God, Look!God, Look! This "dream play" speaks to every person's search for significance. It follows the adventures of a new Christian, "Lost" who becomes "Found," then learns from her "Teacher," the importance of helping one "Lost" person at a time, to become "Found." She stands in awe at the simplicity of God's high call to obedience and evangelism.
